DR. MARK FILLEY

Introduction

As founder of the Definitive Interventional Spine Center (DISC), Dr. Mark “Tag” Filley provides patients with comprehensive pain management care. He employs a broad range of interventional pain management techniques, carefully matching treatment modalities with the specific needs of his patients.

Dr. Filley received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his residency training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He trained at the prestigious Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix and the Texas Brain and Spine Institute in Plano. His post-graduate education also includes training with well-renowned spine experts at the Houston Spine and Neurosurgery Center.

Dr. Filley is a member of both the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

DR. DAVID JENSON

Introduction

Dr. Jenson is a respected podiatrist who has been providing both children and adults the most advance and modern procedures for the foot & ankle. His peers consider him an exceptional specialist who is very knowledgeable about podiatric medicine. Dr. Jenson is especially known to be an expert in lower extremity peripheral neuropathy and has received extensive training in this area. He is the leading physician in The Woodlands and greater Houston area and has over 1000 cases worth of experience in this specialty.

Dr. Jenson uses the latest technology of endoscopic and arthroscopic procedures to diagnosis and treat foot & ankle conditions with minimal recovery time. He has important values when it comes to the function and aesthetics of a patient’s foot & ankle as his philosophy has always been to alleviate pain and structural issues while maintaining beauty.

Dr. David Jenson is one of the most highly trained Podiatrists in Texas. He completed his doctorate degree of podiatric medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to receive specialized training in New York in areas of pediatric orthopedics, biomechanics, and gait analysis. Dr. Jenson was also trained by Dr. A. Lee Dellon of Johns Hopkins University in lower extremity peripheral surgery and is one of the foremost experts in this neuropathy field as it relates to feet.

He is a member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the Lower Extremity Peripheral Nerve Fellowship Group.

Having already completed a fellowship in Acute Pain Medicine in Pittsburg, as well as having been the Director of the University of Texas at Houston’s Orthopedic Anesthesia, Acute Pain Service and Fellowship in Acute Pain and Regional Anesthesia as well as the Bayfront Health System’s Chief of Pain Medicine and Obstetrical Anesthesia.

Currently, Dr. Wadiwala is the Director of Bariatric surgery at North Houston Surgical Hospital which happens to be a “Center of Excellence” for weight loss surgery.

He has actively participated in various scientific articles and attended several conferences related to morbid obesity surgery and outcomes during his extensive training, and is a member of organizations such as ASMBS, SAGES, ACOS, HCMS, and TMA.

As a board certified general surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of morbid obesity, he’s been in practice for more than five years and has performed more than 1,500 weight loss related operations with excellent outcomes.
